Match Switch’s Ball to the Next Segment

Switch asks you to tap a bouncing ball upward through spinning multicolor obstacles. Only a segment matching the ball’s color is safe, and orbs switch that color. The main challenge is combining timing with recognition: identify the next opening, confirm its color and tap so the ball reaches it at the right moment. A visually open gap is not safe if its segment does not match.

Track the next safe segment

Look at the obstacle’s rotation and locate a segment that matches the ball. Anticipate where that segment will be when the ball arrives, rather than tapping for its current location. This small timing delay matters because the obstacle spins while the ball rises. Keep your attention on the next obstacle, then reset your scan after clearing it.

Treat the orb as a rule change

A pickup orb changes the ball’s color. After collecting it, recheck the next obstacle instead of continuing to follow the previous color. The new matching segment may be elsewhere in the rotation, so update your plan before another tap. Reading the ball and the obstacle together helps avoid a reflexive bounce into the wrong color.

Make a miss useful

If contact happens, ask whether you mistimed the bounce or selected a segment that did not match. Change one of those decisions on the next try. The game is a repeated tap challenge, but it does not require tapping as fast as possible; the right moment depends on the moving obstacle and current color.

Questions about Switch tips

What do the orbs do?

Orbs switch the ball’s color. The safe obstacle segment changes with the ball’s new color.

Can the ball pass through any opening?

It can pass only through obstacle segments that match its current color. Time the tap so a matching segment reaches the ball’s path.
