## How to play

Mouse to aim; WASD to move. Left click attacks, 1–4 aim spells, Space jumps, Shift dashes (three charges; four with boots), V is a close-range strike for ranged heroes only. Melee heroes swing with left-click. Hold Alt / Option for upgrades over the shop; release to return. T toggles upgrades; B opens the shop; Q F R Z X C use items. Hold Tab for statistics, Unstuck and a unanimous team forfeit vote. Unstuck confirms a normal death and respawn. Face a nearby ladder and walk toward it to latch on; diagonal approaches work. W / S climbs. Jump on wall impact for one wall kick per airborne sequence: at most three jumps; landing resets it. Push three towers and the Ancient. Win matches to unlock banners. 3v3 is the default; choose 5v5 for larger teams. Heroes can reach level 25. Before each round, prepare inside your base barrier for 30 seconds; your flight mount then deploys automatically. Phone: rotate to landscape. Drag left to move; hold and drag right to aim and attack. Tap a spell, aim on the right and release to cast. Tap icons for items and other actions; tap gold for the shop, Skills for upgrades and the team strip for statistics. Single-player Storyteller training teaches the controls and objectives through voiced quests. Click carried equipment in the shop to upgrade it; drag items between your bag and two reserve slots, or to the goblin sell box. On death, move and look to fly as a wisp. Characters opens untimed solo hero practice. Lock in to load the map at level 25 with lane creeps, no bot heroes and unlimited gold. Open the shop with B or tap gold for every item, consumable and wild card, with free upgrades. Search by name or filter the catalogue; tap an equipped wild card to remove it. Hover a hero to inspect its idle model; drag the model to rotate it. Click once to choose your timeout pick; clicking it again clears that choice. If it stays available, it locks in when your time expires. Top portraits show current gold in thousands; player handles appear on the scoreboard. Lock your hero to see the team lineup; Radiant, VS and Dire introductions fade into loading. All 100 banner paintings are unique. Use a Town Portal Scroll, then click your spawn or a living allied tower on the minimap. Right-click or any key cancels targeting for free; the scroll is spent when the three-second channel begins. Moving or interruption then cancels without a refund. Major ultimates have 80–140 second base cooldowns; save them for a fight. Boomwick’s saw and Moonkin casts stay frequent. Cast Boomwick’s ultimate again to recall his saw for free; it drains mana while spinning. While dead, press Y or tap Buyback to return immediately to your fountain once per round. Buyback costs floor(200 + net worth / 13); BB on each top portrait marks availability. Fusewick channels repairs and bomb barrages; Barrelbeard manages ale intoxication; Runebound throws heroes and tramples through fights. Continuous Siege: select it in the lobby to remove round breaks. Buy any standard item for its gold cost. The riverside secret shop unlocks wild items when either third tower falls: each costs 9,000 gold, with two per hero and no replacing them. A fallen third tower returns after three minutes and shields its Ancient again. Play until an Ancient is destroyed. Buyback is once per match in this mode.
