## How to play

Drag or use WASD / arrows to swim. Visit Coral, choose your fish and weapon, equip your build, change it freely in the hub, then enter the reef gate. Tap or hold FIRE; on desktop aim with the mouse, click or Space to fire, R to reload and Q for your ultimate. Eat smaller fish and chain bites for x8 points. Dodge bullets, leap for powerups and shoot bosses. Choose routes and buy upgrades and single-use supplies across 20 floors. At one health, red edges pulse with a heartbeat. Inspect a route, then tap it again to commit. Press Scan at each encounter to reveal its modifier card and any treasure bonus. The peaceful hub uses a close rear camera. Every combat level uses the side view. Score carries through the run. Press Scan, watch the cards light up, then apply the highlighted modifier. Your fish turns and tilts with your swimming direction. Early levels have a boat with slower glowing red shots. From floor 5, a rigid submarine patrols the surface and seabed with heavier volleys and explosive torpedoes. In the late depths, chained skull mines bob above the seabed: only players trigger them. Each blast costs at most one shared heart; mines reset at the bottom and rise again.
