## How to play

Dots and boxes on a page of a school notebook. Take turns drawing a line between two neighbouring dots. Draw the fourth side of a box to claim it with your doodle, then draw again; the most boxes wins. Never hand over a third side if you can help it, and learn to give away a small chain to win a long one. Climb a ladder of rivals from the Doodler to the Professor, who plays the long-chain endgame, or play with up to four friends. Press between two dots to preview a line and let go to draw it, or slide away to cancel. With a mouse, click between two dots. On a keyboard, the arrows choose a line and Space or Enter draws it.
